WINSTON-SALEM -- Goodwill and the Girl Scouts are giving folks two new reasons to shop. The Girl Scouts opened their second store in the Triad Wednesday inside Goodwill's Winston-Salem store on University Parkway.

Goodwill also celebrated the grand opening of its new coffee shop and expanded bookstore. Customers can enjoy coffee, tea and snacks after they shop with all proceeds staying in the community.

"Any time you donate to Goodwill or purchase an item in our store, you are supporting our mission to provide training and employment programs for people who are looking for work,” said Goodwill's Jaymie Eichorn. “In the last year alone, we've served over 47,000 people."
