WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama is cutting his Hawaiian Christmas trip short to get back to work.
The president and Congress are expected back in Washington on Thursday to try to hammer out a deal to avoid the fiscal cliff. If they don't reach an agreement by the end of the year, massive program cuts and tax increases for all Americans will take effect Jan. 1.
