The 2012 Summer Olympics continue in London Sunday.

The big news Saturday was American Ryan Lochte taking home the red white and blue's first gold medal in the 400-meter individual medley.

Lochte beat out rival Michael Phelps, who finished in fourth.

The U.S. women's soccer team took care of business with a comfortable 3-0 win over Columbia.

They'll square off against Korea in their next match on Tuesday.

Serena Williams cruised through her first match against Serbian Jelena Jankovic.

At the beginning of Sunday's action, the overall medal count was China in the lead with four gold and two bronze medals, followed by Italy with two golds, two silver and a bronze medal.

The U.S. is in third place with one gold, two silvers and two bronze medals. Brazil and Korea round out the top five, with one of each medal. ClientIP: UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
