HAVELOCK, N.C. — The Havelock Fire Department is doing their part to recognize breast cancer awareness month.

The Department is selling pink T-shirts with proceeds benefiting the Carolina East Medical Foundation. The T-shirts are $20 apiece. Fire Fighters hope to bring awareness to the cause.

“Being that it's breast cancer awareness month, the fire department has decided to go pink and all the fire and EMS personal are going to be wearing pink throughout the month of October," said Havelock Fire Chief Rick Zaccardelli.

The T-shirts can be purchased at the West End Havelock Fire Department or City Hall.
