CHARLOTTE -- A man suspected of shooting and killing his ex-girlfriend over the weekend was arrested Tuesday morning in Michigan.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are on the way to Detroit to work with detectives to bring 27-year-old Tracy Gilliam back to North Carolina.
Investigators say Gilliam and 28-year-old Lasheira Hall argued Saturday night at a home on Avalon Avenue in west Charlotte. A family member told police she heard gunshots and saw Gilliam running from the house around 5:20 a.m. Sunday.
Hall, who has a child with Gilliam, died about an hour later at the hospital.
