CHARLOTTE – Many area school systems will be open on Monday. Students were scheduled to be out for Presidents Day, but a snow make-up day will have to be made for storms earlier this month.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Cabarrus County Schools, Stanly and Rowan-Salisbury school systems will now have classes on Monday.
Union County schools will be in session as regularly scheduled. Students there will make up their snow day on Feb. 19, which was supposed to be a teacher work day.
