TABOR CITY, N.C. – A Tabor City prison guard is facing charges in a two-year-old burglary case.
Horry County, S.C., police arrested 26-year-old Stacy Ford of Loris, S.C., last month. He's charged with stealing more than $12,000 worth of firearms in May 2007.
Officers say Ford sold the weapons to buy cocaine.
He was released on $25,000 bond.
The News Reporter, of Whiteville, S.C., reports Ford still works at the prison, but has no contact with inmates.
